SIKESTON -- Robert Noah Friedline, 75, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 1996, at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, Tenn.
He was born Feb. 2, 1921, in Elkville, Ind., son of Ardel and Nora Murray Friedline. He and Mary Skaggs were married Dec. 25, 1941, in Jackson.
Friedline was employed at Cerro Copper and Brass in Cahokia, Ill., 33 years, and retired from Noranda Aluminum. He then worked five years in the kitchen at Lambert's Cafe. He was a machinist's mate in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James Friedline of Richmond, Va.; and a sister, Mildred Marks of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Pangburn officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
