ANNA, Ill. -- Robert M. Fisher Sr., 81, of Anna died Sunday, July 8, 2001, in Anna.
He was born Dec. 8, 1919, at Thebes, Ill., son of Hudson and Charlotte Spencer Fisher. He and Mary Holmes were married in February 1943 at Ste. Genevieve, Mo. She died Sept. 30, 1967.
Fisher had been a construction worker, and served as vice president of Mt. Zion Cemetery Association.
Survivors include five daughters, Karen Garst, Barbara Gray and Cathy Fisher of Anna, Janet Moseley of Cloverdale, Calif., Rhonda Kelley of Peoria, Ill.; a son, Robert M. Fisher Jr. of Anna; a sister, Faye Holmes of Anna; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three daughters, a son, two grandchildren, five sisters, and seven brothers.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. Thursday and after 11 a.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Diane Cook officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Olive Branch, Ill.
