Robert Eifert

CRYSTAL CITY, Mo. -- Robert E. Eifert, 74, of Crystal City passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.

Beloved husband for 55 years of Soundra "Joy" Eifert; loving father of Debra (Jim) Maniaci and Kay (Derek) Hardesty; dearest grandfather of Gary (Kristina) Maniaci, Karl (Anita) Hardesty, Niki Maniaci, Mark (Tiffany) Maniaci, Kory (Michelle) Hardesty, Lauren Maniaci and Jeannette Knaff; great-grandfather of Dominic Maniaci, Jordan Hardesty, Maria Maniaci, Landon Hardesty and Kaden Maniaci; dear brother of Betty (the late Pete) Raines, the late Ruby (Karl) Hilleman and Elroy (Bobbie) Eifert; and dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and dear friend to many.

Bob served in the U.S. Air Force two years.

He was employed 35 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo., and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in Lightner Cemetery.
