ROBERT E. CISSELL

PERRYVILLE -- Robert E. "Gene" Cissell, 52, of Perryville, died Monday, March 23, 1992, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 11, 1939, at Silver Lake, son of Claude and Pearl Gibbar Cissell. He and Dorothy Ann Ruch were married July 8, 1961, at Silver Lake.

Cissell was a fork truck operator with Mississippi Lime Co. in Ste. Genevieve, and member of St. Rose of Lima Church at Silver Lake.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Carolyn Cissell of Perryville, Gina Cissell of Creve Coeur; his mother, Pearl Doll of Silver Lake; three brothers, Joseph, Claude Jr. and Kenneth Cissell of Perryville; a sister, Lorene Blessing of St. Louis, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Rose of Lima Church. The Rev. Charles Rice will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today. A wake service will be held at 7.
