DALLAS, Tex. James Robert Newton Church, 60, a native of Cape Girardeau, Mo., died at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas Sunday, Dec. 15, 1991.
He was born in Cape Girardeau on Nov. 17, 1931.
He attended Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau and the University of Missouri-Rolla.
He had been a resident of Garland, Tex. 30 years, where he worked at J&J Joint Ventures and J&A Manufacturing Co.
He was a veteran of the Navy and served on the USS Kidd destroyer in the 7th Fleet, which was stationed at Hong Kong, China during the Korean conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Autumn; daughters Tambi Johnson of Rockwall, Tex., and DeInda Kjellander of Garland; sons, Davin Church, Derek Church, and Daynon Church; his stepmother, Mrs. Robert Church, of Cape Girardeau and a sister, Anna Berry of Evansville, Ind.
