CHARLESTON -- Robert Paul Bruenderman, 81, Charleston Route 2, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born July 19, 1915, in Mississippi County, son of Bernard Joseph and Louise Renaud Bruenderman. He and Margaret Wallace were married Oct. 10, 1946.

Bruenderman was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He served in the European Theater with the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Charles Bruenderman of Sikeston, James, Thomas and Bennie Bruenderman, all of Charleston; three daughters, Diane Sevic of Wyatt, Paula McClung of Sikeston, Laura Knoderer of Charleston; two brothers, Raymond Bruenderman of Cape Girardeau, Bernard Bruenderman of Wilsonville, Ore.; two sisters, Mary Newcomb and Bernice Keen of Charleston; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Henry's Church, with the Rev. Rich Lause officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
