Robert Edward Breeding, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at Jackson Villas in Jackson. He was born Sept. 4, 1942, in Cape Girardeau to Edgar Ernest and Margaret Lee Limbaugh Breeding. Robert was an avid fisherman and hunter, sharing the passion with his father. He was born Sept. 4, 1942, in Cape Girardeau to Edgar Ernest and Margaret Lee Limbaugh Breeding.
Robert was an avid fisherman and hunter, sharing the passion with his father. He retired as a mechanical engineer for AmerenUE. He later owned and operated Shakey's Pizza with his loving, lifelong companion, Margaret "Jenny" Briscoe.

He was preceded in death by Jenny and his parents.
The family will hold a private ceremony at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
