ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Robert W. Bartlett of Anna will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Gene Hart will officiate. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery at Portageville, Mo.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Bartlett, 83, died Thursday, June 28, 2001, at the Rehab and Care Center of Jackson County in Murphysboro, Ill.
He was born Nov. 26, 1917, in Portageville, son of Jesse William and Rosie Howell Bartlett.
Bartlett was a farmer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherry Andrews of Keokuk, Iowa; a son, Gary Newman of Riverside, Calif.; four sisters, Nellie Hoironimus of Ellsberry, Mo., Bertha Batson of Anna, Ruby Wood of Caruthersville, Mo., and Marcella Russell of Sweitzer Creek, Mich.
He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
