BERTRAND -- Funeral service for Robert A. "Cobb" Hunt of Bertrand will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. George White will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
Hunt, 63, died Monday, June 20, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, following an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 21, 1930, in Mississippi County, son of James T. and Eula Barley Hunt. He and Mary K. Cassel were married Dec. 3, 1962.
Hunt was retired from the U.S. Army, serving in World War II and the Korean War. He was also retired from Noranda Aluminum.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James Hunt of Linn; a daughter, Beverly Morgan of Marston; two brothers, Harold Hunt of Oak Ridge, Arl Hunt of St. Louis; a sister, Hazel Abbott of Tool, Texas, and two grandchildren.
