Robelian "Sis" Carter, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at her home.
She was born Sept. 27, 1929, in Diehlstadt, daughter of Clemmie and Robelian Peterson Carter.
Carter did domestic work for several Cape Girardeau families, worked at Lee-Rowan Co. in Jackson from 1973-77, and at the former Baker's Big Burger in Cape Girardeau. She was a former member of Second Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Albert Carter of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Mary Mitchell of Jackson, Marilyn Carter of Belleville, Ill., Marcia Carter of Cape Girardeau, Denise Evans of St. Louis; 26 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau Friday from 11 a.m. to service time.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at funeral home. Elder Ollie Boyd will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
