ROBBIE IRENE BROWN

EAST PRAIRIE -- Robbie Irene Brown, 84, of East Prairie, died Friday, Sept. 16, 1994, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Dec. 16, 1909 at Caruthersville, daughter of John Robert Frye and Macie Francis Bynum Frye.

She married Allie Ray Brown on April 13, 1945. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1983.

She lived in St. Louis where she worked as a seamstress with the CurLee Clothing Co. before moving to East Prairie.

She was a member of the First Church of God In East Prairie.

Survivors include a son, Robert Lofton of Imperial, Mo.; daughters Pauline McDermott of East Prairie and Imogene Acey, St. Lois; a sister, Rosie Greer of Granite City, Ill.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Service will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Shelby Funeral Chapel with Bro. Larry Smith, pastor of the First Church of God in East Prairie, officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home today until service time.

She was preceded in death by a son, one grandson, two sisters and three brothers.
