RITA SCHOTT

Rita Schott, 85, of Ste. Genevieve, died Monday, Oct. 17, 1994, at Ste. Genevieve County Hospital.

She was born July 29, 1909, at Clubb, daughter of John and Daisy Campbell Mason. She first married Emmet J. Schulte Aug. 28, 1926, who died in 1968. She later married Michael B. Schott Sr. in February 1973. He died in 1984.

Schott was a retired inspector with Prince Gardner. She was a member of St. Marys Order of Eastern Star 33 and the United Methodist Church, both in St. Marys.

Survivors include a brother, Clyde Mason of Cape Girardeau; two stepsons, Jim Schott of St. Charles, Richard Schott of Springfield; 13 stepgrandchildren; eight great-stepgrandchildren, and five great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and stepson.

Friends may call at Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery.
