KELSO -- Rita Monica Glueck Diebold, 60, of Kelso died Wednesday Nov. 20, 1991 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 27, 1931 at St. Joe, Tenn., the daughter of Joseph Kluesner and Anna Mae Reischman. She married Clarence "Curley" Glueck April 14, 1951. He preceded her in death Jan. 29, 1979...

KELSO -- Rita Monica Glueck Diebold, 60, of Kelso died Wednesday Nov. 20, 1991 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 27, 1931 at St. Joe, Tenn., the daughter of Joseph Kluesner and Anna Mae Reischman.

She married Clarence "Curley" Glueck April 14, 1951. He preceded her in death Jan. 29, 1979.

She then married Paul Diebold on Sept. 12, 1981. He survives.

She was an employee of St. Francis Medical Center's medical records department.

A member of the St. Augustine Parish, she was active in St. Ann's Sodality, was editor of the St. Augustine's Parish Centennial Book, 1978 and editor of St. Augustine's 100 years and Beyond. She was also a banner maker for the church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Kevin Glueck, Kelso, Dennis Glueck, Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Donna Grossheider, Cape Girardeau, Sherri Roth, Cape Girardeau, Celine Vance, Kelso; five step-daughters, Mary Beth Krietler, Ste. Genevieve, Ann Diebold, Kelso, Margaret Avery, Cape Girardeau, Cathy Dye, Sikeston, Angela Heuring, New Hamburg; three brothers, Eugene Kluesner, Oran, Bernard Kluesner, Cape Girardeau, Joe C. Kluesner, Jackson; six sisters, Joanna Glueck, Chaffee, Alberta Lundgren, Cape Girardeau, Verneda Hooper, Oran, Mildred Kirchdoerfer, Cape Girardeau, Ernestine Bueter, Advance, Catherine Elfrink, Oran; 12 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren.

One sister and two step-sons preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City Thursday after 4 p.m.

A Knights of Columbus rosary will be held Thursday at 8 p.m.

A Parish rosary will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Church in Kelso with Msgr. John Westhues officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
