Rita Henderson

Rita M. Henderson, 58, of Jackson passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, at her home.

She was born May 11, 1955, in St. Louis, daughter of Joseph and Ann Poposky Tucek. She and Jon T. Henderson were married Sept. 19, 1975, in Arnold, Mo.

Rita grew up in Arnold and graduated from Fox High School in 1973. She attended Southeast Missouri State University where she met her husband, Jon, in psychology lab. She later graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting. Rita was self-employed as an accountant for the family business.

Loving survivors include her husband of 38 years; two sons, Thomas J. Henderson of St. Louis and Daniel T. Henderson of Cape Girardeau; her parents, Joe and Ann Tucek of Arnold; two brothers, David Tucek of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Joe Tucek of Oakville, Mo.; and a sister, Linda Tucek of St. Louis.

All family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at her home after 1 p.m. Saturday.
