CHARLESTON -- Funeral mass for Rita Farrington of Charleston will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Henry's Catholic Church. The Rev. James Reynolds will officiate, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
McMikle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Farrington, 82, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 8, 1911, at Benton, daughter of Lawrence and Susanna Essner Diebold. She and Frank Farrington were married June 17, 1950. He died Jan. 13, 1976.
Farrington served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II. She was a member of St. Henry's Church.
Survivors include two brothers, Victor and Raymond Diebold of St. Louis, and a sister, Catherine Renaud of Charleston.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
