SIKESTON -- Riley Waddell, 79, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1993, at his home.

He was born May 30, 1913, in Winston County, Ala., son of John Thomas and Mary Mote Waddell. He and Lela Rainey were married in 1942. She died April 9, 1985.

Waddell was a member of Sikeston Eagles 3319.

Survivors include a son, John Waddell of Sikeston; a sister, Della Speakman of Sikeston, and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Saturday at Loretto Funeral Chapel in Loretto, Tenn. Burial will be in Liberty Grove Cemetery at Loretto.

Ponder Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
