Rick Doughten of Cape Girardeau, 66, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Rick, son of Guy and Rena Patterson Doughten, was born Wednesday, Aug. 29, 1951, in Holcomb, Missouri.
He was a veteran and owned his own business.
Sept. 4, 1970, in Kennett, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Kathy Page. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Rick Doughten Jr. of Cape Girardeau; daughter-in-law, Michelle Doughten of Jackson; two grandchildren, Dallas Doughten of Cape Girardeau and Chandler Doughten of Jackson; four sisters, Lola (Norm) Coleman of Maryland Heights, Missouri, Hattie (Rance) Rainey of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Carolyn (Glen) Foster of Holcomb and Marilyn (Allen) Tessaro of Sparksburg, South Carolina; three brothers, Thomas Doughten of Mesquite, Texas, Marvin (Debbie) Doughten of Kennett and Billy (Betty) Doughten of Paragould, Arkansas; an aunt, Doris Doughten of Chesapeake, Virginia; sisters-in-law, Mary Doughten and Sue Page, both of Kennett; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Larry Doughten, Guy "Sonny" Doughten Jr. and William "Cobb" Doughten.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell, Missouri.
