RICHARD STERN

JACKSON -- Richard Lee Stern, 53, of Jackson, died Thursday, May 30, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 3, 1943, in Turlock, Calif., son of Everett and Pauline Tucker Stern. He and Kathryn Stearns were married July 15, 1977.

Stern was a computer programmer at Quality Packaging Inc.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Nickalos Stern of the home; two daughters, Brenda Stern of Ventura, Calif., Ginger Stern of the home; his mother of Perryville; two stepdaughters, Michelle Morton of Cape Girardeau, Theresa Vaughn of Olive Branch, Ill.; a grandchild, and four stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

There is no visitation or service.

McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
