Richard G. Robinette, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born Jan. 6, 1917, in Lampasas, Texas, son of John G. and Helen Webster Robinette. He married Virginia Opperman April 21, 1979, in Cape Girar-deau.
Robinette served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 as a lithographer. He re-tired from ACME Printing and Lithograph Co. in Wichita, Kan.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Ellen Harmon of Wichita; a sister, Helen Robinette of New York City, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Wichita Park Cemetery.
Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
