CHAFFEE, Mo. — Richard “Dick” Richbourg, 85, of Chaffee passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born April 5, 1931, in Los Angeles to the late Claude Charles and Nellie Garnet Schwartz Richbourg. Richard married Juanita Sparks on Aug. 16, 1965, and she preceded him in death Nov. 27, 2011...

CHAFFEE, Mo. — Richard “Dick” Richbourg, 85, of Chaffee passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 5, 1931, in Los Angeles to the late Claude Charles and Nellie Garnet Schwartz Richbourg. Richard married Juanita Sparks on Aug. 16, 1965, and she preceded him in death Nov. 27, 2011.

He was a retired conductor for the Frisco/Burlington Northern Railroad. Richard was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include a son, John (Barb) Richbourg of Gordonville; two daughters, Gail Siebert of Cape Girardeau and Cathy (Jim) Miller of Ironton, Missouri; two brothers, David (Myra) Richbourg of Benton, Missouri, and Joe (Mary) Richbourg of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Charlotte (Jim) Akin of Nashville, Tennessee, and Connie Richbourg of Cape Girardeau; and seven grandchildren.

Richard also was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with the Rev. David Richbourg officiating.
