PERRYVILLE -- Memorial service for Richard Ray Greer of Overland was held Saturday at Hilleman's Funeral Home in Overland. Burial was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis County.

Greer, 70, died Thursday, May 27, 1993.

A native of Parma, he was the son of Collie and Margie Greer.

He was employed 26 years at McDonnell-Douglas, retiring in 1980. He was a member of International Association of Machinists and Aero Space Workers 35, and Thoman-Boothe American Legion Post 338. He was a member of U.S. Army/Air Force 69th Bomb Squadron during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, the former Alline Ann Wesbecher; four sons, Jack Greer of Cartersburg, Ind., Dwight, Stan and Eric Greer of St. Louis County; four daughters, Debra Stelling of Perryville, Sharon Cossey, Judi LaHay and Emily Choate of St. Louis County; a brother, James; a sister, LaDora; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a stepgrandson.
