Richard Parrett

HILLSBORO, Mo. -- Richard Wayne Parrett, 59, died Saturday, April 10, 2010, in Hillsboro.

He was born Nov. 3, 1950, in Cherryville, Mo.

Beloved husband of Junell Ladd Parrett; dear son of the late Elizabeth Henkelmann and Eric Parrett Sr.; beloved father of Elizabeth (John) Wyatt; stepfather to Danielle Keith and Nathin McFarland; dearest grandfather to Sarah Harrimann, Rose, Carson and Cody Wyatt and Kaitlyn Garity; dearest brother to Roberta (George) Wallen and the late Joyce Gray, Eric (Buck) Parrett Jr. and Peter Parrett; beloved uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews; and a dear friend to many.

Richard was a graduate of Rolla University and an associate dean at ITT Institute. He loved music, playing his guitars and creating his own music on the computer.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
