Funeral for Richard M. McLean Jr. of St. Louis will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Dan Schulte will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the chapel from 1-3 p.m. Thursday.

McLean, 59, died Thursday, July 27, 2000, at his home.

He was born March 15, 1941, in San Antonio, Texas, son of Richard and Altha King McLean.

McLean was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He was a teacher at Roosevelt High School in St. Louis, and worked for the state of Missouri 18 years.

Survivors include a sister, Nancy Myer of Jackson, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
