Richard Lilley

CAIRO, Ill. -- Richard E. Lilley, 49, of Hapeville, Ga., died Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, Ga.

He was born Nov. 13, 1954, in Cairo, son of Fred Matthew and Helen Lucille Hawf Lilley. He married Peggy Inez Raines.

Lilley worked at National Auto Rental Co.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard Lilley of Tampa, Fla.; two brothers, Fred Lilley of Leonardtown, Md., and John Lilley of Apollo Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Shirley Taylor of McDonough, Ga., Jane Langer of Ellsworth, Wis., and Nancy Turk of Huntington Beach, Calif.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mounds, Ill. The Rev. Bill McGhee will officiate.

Barkett Funeral Home at Mounds is in charge of arrangements.
