GLEN ALLEN, Mo. -- Richard L. Leinger, 73, of Glen Allen died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 19, 1927, son of Eugene and Mami Strubelt Leinger. He and Nelda Koenig were married June 30, 1956.
Leinger was a screw machine operator at Carter Carburetors several years. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Richard Bequette of Festus, Mo.; a brother, William Leinger of Glen Allen; a sister, Francis Maybury of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
There is no visitation.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo., with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill, with full military honors conducted by VFW Post 5900 and uniformed military personnel.
