ANNA, Ill. -- Richard Dean "Dick" Kristoff, 67, of Buncombe, Ill., died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
He was born Oct. 31, 1938, in Carbondale, Ill., son of Tony and Anna Manerich Kristoff Sr. He and Betty June McCormick were married Sept. 30, 1960, in White Ash, Ill.
Kristoff was a retired journeyman lineman with Ameren UE and a member of Lick Creek Pentecostal Church and the IBEW Local 702. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Cindy McCree of Marion, Ill., Ricky Barr of Jonesboro, Ill., Dick Kristoff and Greg Kristoff, both of Buncombe, Ill.; two brothers, Tony Kristoff Jr. of Anna and Bob Kristoff of Cobden, Ill.; three sisters, Katherine Tucker of California, Bertha Riddle of Carterville, Mo., Marie Stockton of Joliet, Ill.; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a grandson.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna or Tuesday until the funeral hour.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Boyd officiating. Interment will be in the McKinney Chapel cemetery near Goreville, Ill., with graveside military honors by the Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 of the VFW in Anna.
