BLOOMFIELD -- Lois Richard Harrison Jr., 72, of Bloomfield died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
He was born Nov. 11, 1923, at Cairo, Ill., son of Lois Richard and Rue Davenport Harrison.
He had been a resident of Bloomfield since 1984. He retired from the Navy as a chief petty officer in 1961 after serving 20 years. He was also retired form General Electric Co. in Morrison, Ill.
On March 29, 1941, he married Jerry Followell. She died Jan. 31, 1993.
He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Wing of Freeport, Ill.; a brother, Charles Harrison of St. Louis; a sister, Gloria Hall of St. Louis; three grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
A son and granddaughter preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield after 10 a.m. Monday. Graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, with the Rev. Dallas Reagan officiating.
