SIKESTON, Mo. -- Richard Lee Hale, 45, of Sikeston passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, from injuries received in an automobile accident near Dudley, Mo.
He was born July 17, 1964, in Cape Girardeau, son of Marion and Linda Hamlin Hale. He and Michelle Jordan were married April 6, 1995, at Benton, Mo.
Richard was a boilermaker with Associated Electric Inc. in New Madrid, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; father and stepmother, Marion and Edith Hale of Wappapello, Mo.; a son, Derek Hale of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three daughters, Heather Hale of Greenbrier, Mo., Haley and Kelsey Hale of Sikeston; two brothers, Robert Hale of Wappapello, Rodney Hale of Advance, Mo.; a sister, Jennifer O'Donnel of Bourbon, Mo.; and a grandchild, Tacoa Batts of Greenbrier.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Hale.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Eric Shrum officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
