Richard F. Kaempfe, 85, of the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Dec. 12, 1992, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born July 10, 1907, in Perry County, son of Charles and Frieda Burfiend Kaempfe.
On April 28, 1934, he married the former Helen Perry in Cape Girardeau. She survives.
He had been employed by Paramount Paint for more than 20 years before retiring in 1976.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Painters & Allied Trades Connected to the AFL-CIO CFL. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include four sisters, Lillian Glave of Cleveland, Ohio; Myrtle Brown of Cape Girardeau; Mable Curry of Cape Girardeau; and Dorothy Underwood of Birmingham, Ala.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Service will be held Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel with the Rev. David Dissen officiating. Burial will be in Iona Cemetery in Cape Girardeau County.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.
