McCLURE, Ill. -- Richard Dean Baugher, 63, of Waterloo died Monday, March 2, 1998, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis County, Mo.
He was born April 28, 1934, at McClure, son of Lawrence and Elsie Mae Woodard Baugher. He and Patricia Salsbery were married Sept. 1, 1957, in Burns, Ore.
Baugher was a yardmaster with Alton-Southern Railroad 30 years. He was a member of American Legion Post in McClure, and Maeystown Sportsman's Club.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dennis and Gregory Baugher of Waterloo; a daughter, Pamela Baugher of Waterloo; a brother, Kerry Baugher of Jackson, Mo.; two sisters, Diana Kelley of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Beverly Winans of McClure.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Raymond Oxford officiating. Burial will be in Lindsay Cemetery at McClure.
