Rhonda Sitz

Rhonda Owens Sitz, 51, of Jackson died Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 26, 1962, in Cape Girardeau to Ronald and Jeannine Willis Owens. She and Jerry Sitz were married Sept. 24, 1995, in Sikeston, Mo.

Rhonda was a member of Bethel Assembly in Cape Girardeau. She worked 15 years as a reservations agent for Drury Hotels and also was a Pampered Chef representative.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Sitz of Jackson; mother, Jeannine Owens of Cape Girardeau; son, Jared Sitz of Jackson; daughters, Erin and Marissa Sitz of Jackson; sisters, Dana (Jeff, deceased) Kondrad of Manchester, Mo. and Tracy (Robert) Butler of Overland Park, Kan.; mother-in-law Brenda Gattong of Oak Ridge; father-in-law Gerald Sitz of Sikeston; sister-in-law Kim (Todd) Simmers of McGee, Mo.; and brothers-in-law Todd (Jane) Murphy, Patrick (Carrie) Murphy and Greg (Mandy) Sitz of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with Pastor Phil Roop officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.
