Rex Woodring, 61, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, at his home.
He was born Aug. 8, 1959, in Wood River, Illinois, son of Clarence and Dolores Pansic Woodring.
Rex was a journeyman electrician with IBEW Local No. 1 for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Woodring of Riley, Kansas; his son, Russell Woodring of Fredericktown, Missouri; a daughter, Jessica (Kevin) of Riley; four sisters, Linda James of Scopus, Missouri, Sue Cork of Cape Girardeau, Wanda Rhodes of Marble Hill, Missouri, and Jean Young of Ballwin, Missouri; and four grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
The family will host a celebration of life at 2 p.m. Aug. 8 at Eagles Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
Rex will be inurned at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Marble Hill.
Arrangements were under the care of Liley Cremation Services.
