BROWNWOOD, Mo. -- The Rev. Ronnie Joe Winchester, 58, of Brownwood passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 18, 1963, son of Jimmie Lee and Juanita Pearl Bennett Winchester. He and Christine Mitchell were united in marriage on Oct. 5, 1991.
Ronnie pastored several churches in the area, including Friendship Baptist Church in Dongola, Illinois.
Survivors include his wife, Christine of the home; son, Austin Winchester of Brownwood; brother, Wade Winchester of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Darlene Barks of St. Peters, Missouri, and Donna Propst of Zalma, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Amanda Mayfield, Ryan Barks, Paula Dawson, Stephen Brown, Deanna Wine, Mark Winchester and Chad Winchester; great-nephews, Colton Mayfield, Alex Mayfield, Connor Ackenhausen and Ronan Lenkerd; and several other great-nieces and-nephews.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patty Sue Winchester.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Friendship Cemetery in Dongola with the Rev. Earl Elfrink officiating.
