BLOOMFIELD -- The Rev. Paul Herman Davis, 71, of Glen Allen, died Wednesday, July 13, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 10, 1923, at Parma, son of Claude and Grace Snider Davis. He and Rita Lubeck were married Dec. 27, 1991.

Davis was a retired Pentecostal minister, having pastored Circle City Pentecostal Church almost 10 years. He spend most of his life in the Bloomfield community, moving recently to Glen Allen.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Claude Davis of Lansing, Mich., Edward Davis of Dixon, Darrell Davis of Orville, Calif.; a daughter, Paulette Bunch of Marysville, Calif.; five stepsons, Jerry and Deward Philpott of Bloomfield, Richard Philpott of Terre Haute, Ind., Charles Blaszak of West Beach, Va.; James Blaszak of San Diego, Calif.; five stepdaughters, Shirley Ashley of Clinton, Ind., Donna Alberson of Cape Girardeau, Vicky Nunn of Dexter, Patricia Ranhran of St. Charles, Ill., Alberta Dummer of Rochelle, Ill.; a brother, Tom Davis of Bloomfield, and a sister, Alma Arnett of Sullivan, Ind.

He was preceded in death by four sons and a brother.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
