The Rev. Marshall W. Moore died Friday, Nov. 22, 1991, at Ste. Genevieve Memorial Hospital. He was 75.
He was born Nov. 19, 1916, near Oak Ridge, the son of Edward Moore and Eula Mae Lape Moore.
He married Lucille Suhr on July 18, 1936. She survives.
Also surviving is one son, the Rev. Steve Moore of Anniston, Mo.; two daughters, Alma Randol of Cape Girardeau and Joan Kaufman of Ste. Genevieve; four brothers, Wilson Moore, Leroy Moore and Ervin Moore, all of Oak Ridge, and Earlis Moore of Lawrence, Kan.; two sisters, Flossie Crites of Chaffee and Bessie Ruebel of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter and one sister.
He has lived in the Millersville and Oak Ridge communities for most of his life. He moved from Millersville to Ste. Genevieve in August of this year as one of the founders of the Apostolic Church of Ste. Genevieve. He had been a member of the Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jackson.
Over the years, he had served as pastor in churches in Oran, Bell City and Millersville. He had been in the ministry since 1959,
He was also an employee of Florsheim Shoe Co. from 1949-79.
Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Jackson. The Rev. W.L. Kaufman will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Doyle Randol and the Rev. Steve Moore.
Friends may call at McComb's Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. today.
Burial will be at the Old Salem Cemetery in Millersville.
