REV. LAWRENCE HAUPT

CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for the Rev. Lawrence E. Haupt of Sacramento, Calif., was held Oct. 29 at Andrew Greilich Funeral Home in Oak Grove, Calif. Burial was in Southeast Lawn Garden at Oak Grove.

Haupt, 81, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 1991, at Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento.

He was born Aug. 4, 1910, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Pearl and Minnie Haupt. He lived at Chaffee about 15 years, and pastored various churches in the area. He moved to California in 1961.

Survivors include his wife, the former Pernecia Mayfield; a son, Lloyd Haupt of Elk Grove, Calif.; a daughter, Gladys Orton of Baraboo, Wis.; three brothers, Loy Haupt of Neosho, Hubert Haupt of Blue Springs, Wilbert Haupt of Jackson; two sisters, Bessie Gross and Doris Adolph of Farmington; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
