REV. JERRY T. COLEMAN

BELL CITY -- Funeral service for the Rev. Jerry Thomas Coleman of Bell City will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Revs. Junior and Elijah Bennett will officiate, with burial in Oak Ridge General Baptist Church Cemetery near Advance.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:30-9 p.m. today.

Coleman, 50, died Wednesday, July 8, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 17, 1942, at Bloomfield, son of Lee and Lois Dunivan Coleman. He and Marie Browning were married July 17, 1959, at Bloomfield.

Coleman was a General Baptist minister. He was president of Calvary Association and president of the Bell City Ministerial Alliance.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Betty Huffman of Bell City; his mother of Bell City; a brother, Ivan Coleman of Advance; a sister, Reginia Eilers of Bell City; three grandsons, and three stepgrandchildren.
