Rev. Franklin Bippus

The Rev. Franklin H. Bippus, 57, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Life Care Center.

He was born March 24, 1947, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lester H. and Freida Weber-James Bippus. He and Stella Bretthauer were married Dec. 3, 1965, in San Francisco, Calif.

Bippus was ordained a minister in the Church of God of Anderson, Ind., April 19, 1985.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Logan Bippus of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter, Kathy Hollinger; his father; a sister, Janet Voelker, all of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
