JACKSON, Mo. -- The Rev. Frank O. Baugh, 84, of Oklahoma City, Okla., died Friday, Aug. 10, 2001, in Oklahoma City.
He was born Nov. 30, 1916, in Jackson, son of Clyde and Sarah Birch Baugh. He married the former Christine Knox.
Baugh was a graduate of Jackson High School, and completed his ministry education at Bolivar Baptist College, Baylor University, and Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
He served churches in Oklahoma more than 50 years, and for the past 19 years served at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. He also served in capacities at the local and state level, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronnie Baugh of Tyler, Texas, Lonnie Baugh of Vian, Okla.; two daughters, Mary Wilkinson of Tyler, Becky Lasiter of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral was Aug. 13 at Exchange Avenue Church, with the Rev. Rusty Stowe officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.
Vondel L. Smith and Sons Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
