MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- The Rev. Emerson Walker, 79, of Marble Hill died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 13, 1926, in Iuka, Ky., son of John Monroe and Laura Ellen Doom Walker. He and Ella Clarine Jones were married March 31, 1951, in Bowling Green, Ohio. She died June 9, 2004.
Walker worked in assembly for Fisher-Body Co. in South Haven, Mich., prior to retiring. He was an ordained minister of Full Gospel Churches International, and attended Word of Faith Fellowship Church in Cape Girardeau.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a sister, Justine Hardison of Louisville, Ky.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Henson officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
