JONESBORO, Ill. -- The funeral for the Rev. E.L. "Lee" Eudy of Camp Verde, Ariz., will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Anna, Ill. The Revs. C.O. Belcher and A.W. Landis will officiate. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Eudy, 66, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 5, 1936, in Reynoldsville, Ill., son of Earl E. and Viola Wareing Eudy. He and Carol Ann Myers were married Nov. 18, 1956. She died Feb. 10, 1987. He and Patricia L. Koehn were married July 29, 1989.

Eudy had pastored Southern Baptist churches more than 30 years, and was pastor of First South Baptist Church of Camp Verde.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Darrel Eudy of Lincoln Park, N.J., Darren Eudy of Modesto, Calif., Darnell Eudy of Eugene, Ore.; a daughter, Karren Bertomen of Turlock, Calif.; a stepson, Gary Koehn of Woods Cross, Utah; and a stepdaughter, Sheryl Koehn of Scottsdale, Ariz.

Also surviving are two brothers, Ernest Eudy of Anna, George Eudy of McClure, Ill.; six sisters, Ermadell Elkins of Anna, Bonnie Pickle and Shirley Miller of McClure, Naomi Clark of Grand Rapids, Mich., Peggy St. Cin and Deanie Hinkle of Jonesboro; and 14 grandchildren.
