CHAFFEE, Mo. -- The Rev. Dale Levi Hendrix, 58, of Chaffee died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2001, at his home.
He was born Dec. 22, 1942, at Zalma, Mo., son of Cletis Izer and Thelma Delores Gobble Hendrix. He and Virginia Lea McRoy were married Nov. 23, 1962.
Hendrix was a minister at House of Prayer in Chaffee.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Larry Hendrix of St. Charles, Mo., Scott, Travis, Shannon and Joe Hendrix, all of Chaffee; three daughters, Mary Day of St. Charles, Jeannie Walker and Marty Seabaugh of Chaffee; five sisters, Anna Morgan of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Helen Hurst of Walnut Ridge, Ark., Jerrie Bentley and Reva Harrison of East Alton, Ill., Janice Hunter of Chaffee; 18 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Robert Dudley officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
