The Rev. Charles W. Creibaum, 84, of the Baptist Home in Ironton died Thursday, June 5, 1997, at the home.
He was born Jan. 5, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, son of William and Leona Sherf Creibaum. He and Blanche Delores Trickey were married April 10, 1936, in Cape Girardeau. She died Feb. 17, 1997.
Creibaum began his ministry at a Baptist church in Crosstown, and retired from a church in Sarasota, Fla. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Buffalo. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Creibaum of Elkland; two brothers, Richard Creibaum of Laflin, Don Newman of Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Bess Nagel of Cape Girardeau, Dorothy Otten of Sedalia; and a grandson.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at the Baptist Home, with burial in the cemetery there.
