FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. � The Rev. William Jason �Billy� Wiggins, 62, of Fredericktown, formerly of Jackson, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 25, 1956, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Roscoe E. and Betty L. Craft Wiggins.
Billy was a 1986 graduate of Southern Baptist College in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. He worked many years as a bi-vocational minister and truck driver. He ministered at churches in the communities of Perkins, Oriole, Belle, Des Arc and Marquand, Missouri, most recently in Coldwater, Missouri, and Delaplaine and Success, Arkansas.
Loving survivors include two sons, William �Travis� Wiggins and children Logan, Lacey and Kyler of Jackson and Johnny �Trent� Wiggins of Fredericktown; three siblings, Beverly Grebing of Jackson, Ronnie (Linda) Wiggins of Pocahontas and Terry Wiggins of Wittenburg, Missouri; and his former wife, Donna Gilliam of Farmington, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnnie Clements officiating. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery near Pocahontas.
