PUXICO -- Reuben Franklin Kitchen, 91, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 1994, at Doctors' Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Sept. 27, 1903, in Leora, son of Edgar Almonte and Rose Wilson Kitchen. He and Hazel Lowe were married Oct. 23, 1926. Lowe lived in Colorado Springs, Colo., from 1941 until returning to this area in 1973. He was a member of Poplar Bluff Church of God.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Rosie Holsinger of Poplar Bluff, Huldah Freeman of Dixon, Carolyn Robinson of Bend, Ore.; a sister, Nora Williamson of Colorado Springs; seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kent Miller officiating. Burial will be in Duck Creek Cemetery near Puxico.
