Rene Dellamano

OLD APPLETON, Mo. -- Rene L. Dellamano, 79, of Old Appleton died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

She was born July 3, 1927, in DuQuoin, Ill., daughter of Harry E. and Viola Claunch Jones. She married Arthur I. "Art" Dellamano, who preceded her in death.

Dellamano was a former real estate agent in Riverside, Calif., and office manager at Himalaya Back Pack Co. in Monterey, Calif. She was a member of Perryville Art Alliance, Old Appleton Bridge Restoration Committee, active in Beta Sigma Phi sorority, and was a former Girl Scout leader.

Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Glass of Collinsville, Ill.; a son, Jan Dallamano of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon, Ill.

The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Susan Hoyle officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon.
