OLMSTED, Ill. -- Rena Eastwood, 93, of Olmsted, died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1993, at her home.
She was born Aug. 9, 1900, near Olmsted, daughter of George and Ida Kenneth Britt. She and Irvin Eastwood were married Dec. 24, 1915. He died Jan. 9, 1953.
Eastwood had done sewing and upholstery work in the area. She was a member of Olmsted United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Georgia Caudle of Olmsted, Jeannette Wienecke of Kansas City, Mo., Irma Slack of Plymouth, Ind., Rena Kinney of Hinsdale; a brother, Roy Britt of Carbondale; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin. The Revs. Melton Weinecke and Jonathan Althoff will officiate, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery at Pulaski.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
