CHARLESTON -- Remmite Sager, 65, of Charleston died Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 11, 1933, at Wolf Island, daughter of Easter and Ida Mae Cornner Cassell. She and Henry Gene Sager were married Dec. 4, 1951.
Survivors include her husband; six sons, Henry Sager Jr. of Aurora, Ill., Gary and Anthony Sager of Charleston, James, Bryant and Patrick Sager of Memphis, Tenn.
Also surviving are eight daughters, Dorothy Auston, Rose Guy, Debra Suggs, Laticia Hibbler and Anntanett Sager of Memphis, Vanessa Clark, Christy Covington and Carleen Sager of Charleston; a brother, Ellis Cassell of Charleston; a sister, Pearl Cornelius of Flint, Mich.; 25 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Henson. The Rev. William Watson will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
