CHARLESTON -- Reginald Mullins, formerly of Charleston, died Friday, May 28, 1999, in Centerville, Ohio. He was 48.
He was born July 25, 1950, in Wardell, son of Edward and the late Mildred Crawford Mullins.
He was a 1968 graduate of Charleston High School and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia until he was called to military service. He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force in August 1972 and was a member of the Perry Chapel AME Church in Charleston.
Survivors include his father; stepmother, Mabel Mullins of Charleston; two brothers, Tyrone Mullins of Raleigh, N.C., and Eric Mullins of Centerville; two sisters, Patsy and Valerie Mullins, both of Chicago; and two stepsisters, Carolyn Hollowell and Nancy Dillard, both of Sikeston.
Friends may call today beginning at 5 p.m. at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral will be at 7 p.m., today, with Elder Steve Betts officiating.
Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the National Cemetery at Mound City, Ill.
