REBECCA JANE WORTHY GARRETT

EAST PRAIRIE -- Rebecca Jane Worthy Garrett, 35, of East Prairie died Friday, Dec. 9, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 28, 1959, in Charleston, the daughter of A. J. and Annie May Melton Worthy. She married Dennis Garrett on Sept. 25, 1986.

Survivors include her husband and mother; a daughter, Brandi Worthy of the home; seven brothers, Harold Worthy of Hickman, Ky., Don Worthy of East Prairie, Jerry Worthy of Wappapello, Roy Worthy of Jackson, Roger Worthy of Colorado Springs, Colo., Richard Worthy of Washington N.C., and Larry Worthy of Bertrand; seven sisters, Dorothy Russell of St. Louis, Eva Mae Williams of Janesville, Wis., Pat Conlin of Washington, N.C., Shirley Eye of Pacific, Joyce Wallace of Hitchcock, Texas, Brenda Dozier of Matthews and Mary Ditto of East Prairie.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Service will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home Chapel in East Prairie, with the Rev. Don Slatton and the Rev. DeWayne Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
